Reverse Osmosis Systems
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a process that removes a lot of contaminates from the water. Reverse Osmosis passes the water across a semi-permeable membrane the water goes from a concentrated solution to a less concentrated solution, in other words, the reverse of the osmosis process. Commonly used to remove unwanted elements in water for cooking, drinking and ice cubes RO units are usually installed under the kitchen sink or in the basement near the kitchen area and the water is hooked to a separate faucet at the kitchen sink and usually the ice maker in the refrigerator. We have also done some pretty cool, less-common things with reverse osmosis as well, like providing water for orchids in a greenhouse and setting up a spot-free rinse for a customer who didn’t want any water spots on his car.
