Agricultural
Agriculture is important to south central PA, and water is important to agriculture. We work with farms constantly, providing safe drinking water for migrant workers in labor camps in Adams county and the water they use to spray their crops meets federal standards, making sure the water that dairy farmers use to wash their milk tanks out is soft preventing scaling that could give bacteria a place to hide and contaminate the milk they produce, or making sure that the drinking water for the cows is safe to prevent illness in the herd. We work with egg farmers to make sure the water for their chickens is safe, as well as making sure the water that feeds the equipment that washes the eggs is doesn’t foul the nozzles and helping them track the water they use to make sure they are as efficient and environmentally-friendly as possible.
